The Marcus Theatre was opened in 1925 with 250 seats. By 1931 it had been enlarged to 400 seats and was soon renamed Viking Theatre, which closed in 1934. It reopened as the Grand Theatre in 1935. The Grand Theatre was closed in 1945. By 1951 it had reopened as the Rainbow Theatre, and was still open in 1952, although it was never listed in editions of Film Daily Yearbook.
