Grange Cinema

Located in Stevenston, North Ayrshire on the corner of Boglemart Street and Glebe Street. The Grange Cinema was opened in 1939. It was built for Harry Kemp. Seating was provided in stalls and circle levels, and the proscenium was 40 feet wide. It was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. The cinema boasted a café for the convenience of its patrons.

The Grange Cinema was still open in 1966, but had closed by 1980. It was converted into the Grange Bingo Club which operated until 2007. The building was demolished in summer of 2009, and housing was built on the site.
