The Amuse-U Theatre was opened prior to 1914 when it had a seating capacity for 384. By 1931 the seating capacity had been reduced to 275.
In 1932 it had been renamed Struthers Theatre, and kept this name until 1937 when it reverted back to the Amuse-U Theatre. It was closed around 1939. By 1943 it had reopened as the 350-seat Valley Theatre (maybe a rebuild?) which was still open in 1952. The Valley Theatre had closed by 1957.
