Located in the Pryor Building at the corner of S. Ludlow Street and W. 5th Street in downtown Dayton. The space had housed Bill Mazas' Swinging Safari Club, which had been gutted by fire. Rather than re-fit and reopen the club, Bill Maza decided to make the space an ‘adult shopping center’ which would include two auditoriums, one of which was located in an adjacent building on the right of the Pryor Building. The auditoriums seated 175, and 90.

Opened as the Cinema International on August 12, 1970, it screened international adult movies such as “A Man and a Woman” and “I am Curious, Yellow”. In 1971 it was renamed Cinema X Twin.

The Cinema X Twin was closed down by the city authorities in April 1990, when they found the electrical wiring was faulty.

The building was sold to a developer, who planned to convert it into loft apartments, but they couldn’t get the financing. It was demolished in 1995 and a 32-space parking lot in now on the site.
