Located in the Laeken district near the Heizel is the Avenue Houba de Strooper. The Centenaire Cinema opened in 1957 just before the World Fair Expo of 1958 which is located in Heizel, where the 24-screen Kinepolis is now operating. It was named Centenaire to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Kingdom of Belgium, and the monument for the International Worlds Fair of 1935.
