Located in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The Palladium Cinema was opened in 1923. It was operated by T.E. Markham. Around 1930 it was equipped with a British Talking Pictures(BTP) sound system.
Around 1940 it was taken over by the Southan Morris chain S.M. Super Cinemas Ltd, and was re-named Palladium Super Cinema. In 1953 it was re-named Regal Cinema and was taken over by the Newcastle based Essoldo Circuit on 26th August 1954.
The Regal Cinema was closed around 1967. It became a second-hand furniture store. They eventually moved out and the empty building was demolished around 2000.
