Located in the central Cuba province of Las Villas, in the town of San Jose del Largo de Mayajigua to the south of Yaguajay. The Cine-Teatro American Nacional was opened on August 13, 1949 with the North American film “The Street With No Name” (1948) starring Mark Stevens. In 1958 it was owned by Roberto Fernandez Treto.
In later years it was re-named Cine American Libre.
