The Ritz Theatre was opened around 1929. In April 1930 it was equipped for sound movies. In the mid-1930’s it became part of the Martin Theatres chain.
The Ritz Theatre was still open in 1952, but had closed by 1955. In 2015 it is a clothing boutique named ‘The Ritz’.
