Teatro Lido

Located in the El Rosal distect to the east of the city centre. The Teatro Lido was opened 18th December 1946. Designed in a Streamline Moderne style by architect Gustavo Guinand, all seating was on a single floor. The entrance hall had a large painted mural on the wall by artist Charles Ventrillon.

The Teatro Lido was closed in 1977. It has since been demolished and the site now houses the Centro Commerical Lido shopping centre, which has the two screen Cinex Lido cinema in the basement.
