Forrest Drive-In

Located in the South Bunbury suburb to the south of Bunbury, on the west side of Bussell Highway between Parade Road and Timperley Road. The Forrest Drive-In open on 20th August 1963 with “Battle in Outer Space” and “Gidget” starring Sandra Dee. The drive-in closed in(1986?) after the screen “Blew Down”. The Forrest Drive-In was possibly cleared at the same time as the Forrest Cinema (at the back of the drive-in to the left of the drive-in entrance) which was demolished on 6th November 2007. The site is now a car yard and houses.
