Hyden Memorial Hall opened on 12th May 1953 with a debutante ball. The first film screeenings were in(mid or late-1950’s?). film screenings in the Hyden Memorial hall ceased in about 1968. The Hyden Memorial Hall is still there, but no longer screens films(?).
