They still have music events inside as of Oct 2019 but management does not list anything on the marquee. They have a small performer date list inside the window on the right side poster window left over from the Stage Door Theatre movie days. Some day when the music events loose power films can be shown in this nice old classic cinema space again and they can bring the Stage Door Theatre back from the film dead. This part of town near trendy SF’S Union Square needs some movie entertainment back. Show art films, classics/festivals for the locals and tourists in the area, give Landmark some competition in SF. Did anyone save the old neon Stage Door marquee sign?
