The Eagles Hall was used to screen movies from 1915. Listed in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1928 without seating count. It was destroyed by fire on October 31, 1975.

According to the Elko Daily Free Press, 24 Sep 1993, “…motion pictures were first shown in Carlin around 1915 when the old Eagle Hall was converted into a theater, "the seats are on movable boards and many of the town dances are held there.”

“The theater was destroyed by fire on Halloween in 1975, The Elko Daily Free Press reported.”
