Theater façade at the time of opening in early 1941, with the vertical neon WESTS sign incorporated as the main feature. Paramount’s Technicolor production “Doctor Cyclops” is the advertised attraction. Rebuilding work to the plans of Aaron M. Bolot (1900-1989) had been carried out from the end of October 1940 by B. H. Coleman and Kirk Pty Ltd.
