Laverton Town Hall and Gardens

Opening date of the(first) Laverton Town Hall unknown. Movies were screened from October 1902 to 1961. Movies were screened in a Gardens on the south side of the hall. When the town was resurrected in 1970, there was no sign of the gardens(demolished?), but the Town Hall was moved to the present School Yard(Laverton District Primary School)(Lancefield Street): it burned down a few years later, so there no sign of any picture venue in the town. Unknown what is on the original site of the hall(if anything?)
