The Union Traction Company ran an interurban electric rail line between Parsons and Independence to Coffeyville and down to Nowata, Oklahoma. And the car is parked right in front of the Royal Theatre in 1920 located in the Central Block Building (constructed in 1887) which still stands in downtown Cherryvale as of 2017.
