A small neighborhood theater located on a hill at the intersection of Broadway Street and Main Street in the Falls area. Catering to the residents of a factory area and Westover AFB, the Falls Theatre opened only on weekends during its final years of existence. As industry left and the air base diminished under the Nixon administration, urban renewal changed the face of the area, the Falls Theatre became history.

This Theatre has a virtual clone in the still existing Liberty Theatre at 739 Liberty St. in Springfield, Ma. The projection booth entrance was located upstairs in the small non-theatre rental office area.

The Theatre Historical Society archive in Illinois has the MGM Theatre Report for the Wernick Theatre at 24 Broadway. It had 1044 seats, was in Fair condition and had been showing MGM product for 1 year. There is an exterior photo taken in May 1941.
