The Family Theatre was one of the Komm Circuit theatres that lined the South Broadway Shopping district. Komm was a family oriented man and maintained his theatres in that manner. Located at 1601 South Broadway the theatre seated 688 on one floor. It was opened in 1910.

The theatre always featured family oriented movies. Once in a while a personality would grace the stage of the Family Theatre with special programming. Nothing remarkable about the Family Theatre, but another clean and well maintained theatre. By 1913 it had been renamed Carroll Theatre. It had closed by 1926.
