Plaza Picture House

Located in Broxburn, West Lothian, the Central Picture House was set back from Main Street and had an open courtyard in front. It was opened prior to 1927 when it was operated by Broxburn Pictures Ltd. and by 1934 it was booked by A.B. King. It had a 20ft wide proscenium, the stage was 14ft deep and there were two dressing rooms. It was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system. It played pictures and occasional variety acts. It was still operating as the Central Picture House in 1954.
