Located in Ballymote, County Sligo. The Hibernian Cinema was in operation by 1937 and was based in the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall. It was first advertised as the Hibernian Hall Cinema but the Hall in the name had been dropped by 1943. It was operated by Dennis Conroy who later approached various businessmen with a view to opening a larger cinema. It closed around March 1948 when the new cinema, the Abbey Cinema, opened in the town.

The hall is located at 2 Racecourse Road. It has been converted into retail, with amongst others, Mundy’s Second Furniture stores, whose address is The Old Hibernian Hall.
