Located in the city centre. The Cine Roxy was opened on 27th March 1942 with the 1936 Mexican film “Alla en el Rancho Grande”(Out on the Big Ranch) starring Tito Guizar. Seating was provided in orchestra and balcony levels.

In 1990 in became a concert venue and later was used as a church. By 2002, the building was unused and since then become increasingly derelict. By 2018, the roof had been removed and all that remain are the four walls, devoid of all decoration. The facade still has its vertical name sign.
