Grand Cinemas opened August 22, 2017, with 11 screens and 1,400 seats, including an MX4D with Dolby Atmos sound, and 3D with laser projection.
Founded in 2000 by Selim Ramia, this is Grand Cinemas sixth location in Lebanon and ninth in the Middle East.
It is the first cinema in the Middle East with the DPS Lift, a booth-less system, created by NS Industries and used at many Arclight Cinemas in the U.S.
The Cinema was designed by ERA Architects, known for its work in India and the Middle East.
