Cines Palafox

Located in the city centre, across the road from the now demolished Cine Coliseo Equitativa (1950-1999). The Cine Palafox was opened on 4th October 1954 with James Mason in “Prince Valliant”. This large single screen cinema has 1,250 seats in orchestra and balcony levels. The foyer has an attractive mural depicting dancers, painted by artist Andres Conejo, located adjacent to the balcony stairs on the right-hand side of the foyer.

Today, the original auditorium remains untouched, and 10-screens were built in 1997 on an adjacent site.
