Located in Cong, County Mayo, on the border with County Galway. This cinema is first listed in the Kine Year Book of 1954 and was still listed in the last edition of the Book in 1971 as a 16mm Kinema. It was owned by Noel Huggard and had 240 seats. The closure date of the cinema is unclear.
Any information regarding its location would be welcome. Parts of the local area were used in the John Wayne film “The Quiet Man” and the village has a Quiet Man Museum, Tours and Giftshop and nearby there is a statue of John Wayne & Maureen O'Hara.
