Cine Holiday

Located at the corner of Largo Benedetto Marcello and Via Salaria/Via Giovanni Pacini in the Salario district of Rome. The Cine Holiday opened prior to 1970 and was once a popular first run cinema. Since closing it has operated as a bookstore in the foyer, but this had closed by 2018. More recollections would be appreciated.

I saw “Sacco & Vanzetti” here on July 31, 1971.

And Gianni Amelio’s marvelous “Porte aperte” in April 1990.
