The concert that the Australian music group The Seekers played in March 1967 during the Moomba Festival estimated to have been watched by a crowd of over 200,000 people(still a Guinness World Record for the biggest number of people at a concert in Australia and the southern hemisphere too). RIP. Judith Durham(The Seekers). 🎤🎶📀💿😓

The design of the Sidney Myer Music Bowl was inspired by the Hollywood Bowl in California, USA.

Melbourne had the first Carols by candlelight concert in the World. I think there is some permadent seat, right in front of the Sidney Myer Music Bowl(number of seats unknown?)?
