The first theatre for the city of Georgiana opened on September 10th, 1914 after a soft-opening occurred in which the break-downs in part of this theatre were automatically solved and fixed. It was in operation as the Grand Theatre in 1937. By 1938 it had been renamed Georgiana Theatre and was still open in 1943.
