The Frances Theatre (after the Centreville Theatre closed in 1923) for the city of Centreville was popular for silent-era films in which opened in March 1924. When the more-popular Ritz Theatre opened in 1927 and begin its 4+ decade journey, the Frances Theatre continued to operate until 1931 when it became a special-events theatre for a short-period of time, and closed for the final time in 1932.
