Lichtburg Filmtheater

Located in the city center district of Ehrefeld. The Lichtburg Filmtheater was opened on 26th September 1926 and was operated by Waldemar Fork. It was designed by architects Carlo Schloenbach & Carl Jacobi, based in Dusseldorf. (Carl Jacobi also designed the Titania Palast in Berlin). A Tobis sound system was installed in the Lichtburg Filmtheater. Around 1941 it was destroyed by Allied bombs during Wold War II. It was not rebuilt.
