Airdome

According to the a Biloxi Historical Society, the 1,250 seat Airdome opened April 19, 1909, at 854 Howard Avenue by the Vaudette Amusement Company, a partnership of Julius M. Lopez and Fredeick P. Abbley.

The Airdome was open at least through the summer of 1923 before dropping out of the listings.

Today the property of the former Airdome is occupied by the Wells Fargo bank, across the street from the Saenger Theatre.

The Historical Society notes in May 1912 J.D. Tam opened another Airdome at Lameuse Street and Jackson Street, but no information could be found in the Herald.
