Star Drive-In

The Star Drive-In was opened by 1950 when it was operated by J. Gold, Gold & Coelan. By 1952 it was operated by Earl Beckworth & the Blatt Brothers Circuit. It was closed by Cinemette in 1985.

The Yorktown Centre Plaza is in its spot now.

Opened in 1950 and closed in 1985. The Yorktown Centre was built on its spot in 1990. List of owners: Blatt Brothers Circuit 1961-1980 Cinemette Corporation of America 1980-1985

The Star Drive-In opened on June 29th, 1946 as the first drive-in in the Erie region. Grand opening ad posted.
