The Duluth New-Tribune reported Cinema Entertainment Corp. closed it on December 19, 2004 to prepare for the opening of the Duluth Cinema on December 22, 2004 and the transfer of employees to the new cinema.
A Holiday Inn Express was opened on the site in 2016.
