Not sure, but I don’t think this was OPENED by Carmike. Cinema World was a chain that Carmike acquired, though it’s possible this was one of those projects started by one chain, but possible completed by Carmike.
This theater opened in 1992. It was owned by Carmike Cinemas until 2016 when it was taken over by AMC Theatres
It was originally owned by Cinema World from 1992 until Carmike Cinemas took over ownership in 1994.
