Henry Morrow of Hamilton, Alabama, co-owned the area’s first Drive-In in the area, just right before the Marion Theatre, also in Hamilton, grew its popularity in the area. The between 300 and 400-car capacity simply titled Drive-In opened on July 2, 1947 with Sidney Toler as Charlie Chan in “The Shanghai Cobra”.

The bad news of this theatre is that it was very short lived, and was very hard to find attractions depending if the theatre is still alive or not, but I swear it was very short lived. The Marion County News reports that they had a strong focus on the attractions to the Marion Theatre, and later the Ford Drive-In as well which opened in August 1953 (both of which closed in 1958).
