Located in Hartlepool (aka West Hartlepool), County Durham. Built as the Town Hall. Films were screened here from the early-1900’s. From 1908 it was operating as a cinema and had been named Oxford Picture Hall (sometimes referred to as the Oxford Picture Palace. By 1915 it was known as the Cinema de Luxe.

Around 1932 it was equipped with a ECA sound system had been re-named Queen’s Cinema. It was closed as a cinema in 1960 and was converted into a bingo club. That closed in 1967 following a fire on 27th May 1967. The remains of the building were demolished in November 1967.
