Opened as Midway Drive-in on 11th April 1952 with “El Paso”, “Sailor beware”.

This opened as the Park-Vue Drive-In on March 22nd, 1951, for colored patrons only and closed in the fall. It reopened as the Midway Drive-In for white patronage on April 11th, 1952. Midway grand opening ad posted.
