My uncle’s Johnson Construction Company theatre jobs list includes a “Hudson Theatre” project in 1936. One of my grandfather Al Johnson’s theatre project slides shows a street view of this “Old” Hudson Theatre in the heart of the downtown. He shot the slide in July 1948.
Al built the “New” Hudson Theatre from the ground up across town in 1949. I’ve submitted a separate request for a page for that venue.

A Google Maps search indicates that the “old” Hudson Theatre stood at 214 W. Main Street. That location currently (April 2021) appears to be an outdoor dining area for the Rumors microbrewery/restaurant at 212 W. Main Street.
