The Grand Opening of the Trocadero Variety Theatre opened on 13th April 1922 with the spectacular Fox Corporation silent film “The Queen of Sheba starring Betty Blythe. Disaster struck in 1937 in the New Jersey vaults of the Fox Film Corporation when a fire broke out and totally destroyed all their film negatives including those of the Queen of Sheba.
