The Cameo Theatre opened its doors in July of 1948. The Belhaven Pilot reported that the theatre was constructed during the Summer of that year. On September 23, 1954, the theatre installed CinemaScope with “How To Marry A Millionaire” being its first film in that process.
The Cameo Theatre was still open in 1957. It is unknown when the theatre closed its doors, so the hunt still continues.
