Theatre

This small theatre appears on the January 1909 Sanborn, operating in the rear of a confectionery. The business occupied the southernmost storefront of a commercial block constructed sometime after 1904.

This must have been a very simple operation, likely used to supplement the candy business. Capacity cannot have been very large. Sadly, this pioneering effort was not a success, and the 1916 map shows that portion of the building as an auto dealer.

The building today is looking a bit shabby, and may be completely vacant.
