Motor-Vu at Cheadle Lake Park

This is a very short-lived first-run drive-in theatre that only operated during the Coronavirus Pandemic, only operating for over a month-and-a-half. This theatre was also dedicated to the first Motor-Vu that operated from 1950 until 2003, and was launched as a joint fundraiser and community event for the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce and the Boys & Girls Club of the greater Santiam (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).

The “second” Motor-Vu opened at Cheadle Lake Park on July 10, 2020 with “The Angry Birds Movies 2” and closed on August 29, 2020 with “Jumanji: The Next Level”, featuring a small low-mounted non-CinemaScope screen and the former “first” Motor-Vu Drive-In sign on top of the screen which is a very unique addiction to the theatre.
