This theater appears on the February 1913 Sanborn, in the ground floor of an old two-story brick commercial building dating to before 1895. The 1902 map shows a drug store here. A photographer occupied the second floor.
I closed around 1931 and become a store. The building today is rather dogeared, and home to a bar and grill.

The Lyric was the only theater listed at Strawberry Point in the 1914-1915 American Motion Picture Directory. It was mentioned in the trade journals a number of times, and was listed in the FDY’s editions from 1926 through 1931.
