Small town theatre, the Avalon Theatre was opened on October 6, 1930 with Chief Yellow Robe in “The Silent Enemy”. Still easily distinguishable by the terra cotta columns in front and the tower in the rear visible from the street. It was closed in 1959. It was remodeled and became the Old Buck Inn.
