The Lake Camdenton Cinema opened as a single-screener with a capacity of 360 seats on December 20, 1972 with Topol in “Fiddler on the Roof”.
It was operated by Mid-America Theatres, and in August 1973 after a seating update, the chain had plans to twin the theater by Spring 1974. Unfortunately, that never happened.
The theatre closed in the early-1980’s.
