Opened on 21st January 2016, the 11-screen Shaw Theatres Waterway Point was Singapore’s first cinema to be built underground, as part of a mixed-used development comprising a retail mall and 992 residential units. It comprises 10 regular halls seating between 119 and 134, a digital IMAX theatre seating 223 and is currently the largest suburban cinema in Singapore with the most number of screens.
