Opened as the Odeon Theatre in 1907. The theater could seat 1,100 and was located in a two-story building with two storefronts and apartments upstairs. The theater stood on St. Clair Avenue between 8th Street and 9th Street. By 1926 it had been renamed St. Clair Theatre. It was destroyed by fire on October 16, 1947.

The St. Louis Globe-Democrat account of the fire of October 16, 1947 said the theatre was destroyed. The account also said the theatre was 40 years old (meaning it possibly opened in 1907?) and at one time was known as the Odeon.

The Odeon is listed as open in 1912.
