There are many documentaries and stories about theatres closing down because of digitalisation, our story is not about that. Our story is about a rather unique building, one of Auckland’s oldest theatres, standing on one of Auckland’s busiest suburban roads, passed by hundreds everyday, and potentially just slowly fading away…all in 3 minutes!! This short documentary was made as part of the Loading Docs intiative 2015 …
Beautifully crafted mini-doco. Congrats to all!
The theater is surely oldish and the seats as well, but the sound is particularly great and enjoyable. Went to a concert last time and was surely not disappointed. elite urgent care
Theaters closing down just make me sad. This is definitely a breather. I love it! screen repair tampa
A central city art house cinema, modestly tucked away beneath the Central Library, just off the top end of Queen Street. A little difficult to find if you don’t know about it and its survival hasn’t been helped by local council actions, travel nurse assignments, and such as extended road works which made access difficult in the past.
