Originally built for vaudeville.
Taylor Opera House and the Trent Theatre were sold to Frank V. Storss of New York November 8, 1919, for the sum of $440,000.

Manager in 1920 was Moses Montgomery

Had a Moller organ opus 2848 installed in 1919.
The RKO Lincoln and Trent Theaters were demolished during the summer of 1976 to make way for the Roebling State Office Building. The site of the Trent is the building itself while the Lincoln became a parking lot and later, part of the Hanover Street realignment. There are no traces of either.
Both theaters closed on the same night, October 1972.

My how times have changed. On the same site look at the opening night ad for the Delsea Drive-In where it proclaims the very pre PC line “Invalids and shut-ins can now enjoy the movies in real comfort”. :)
Demolished, probably at the same time as the neighboring Lincoln. Parking lots and a realigned Hanover Street occupy this area.
