As someone else pointed out in the comments on the photo, the image pictured here is actually of The Grand in Norristown, PA, Grand Theatre. Would love to see an actual photo of the one on Market Street!
2007 Google Street view has some features of what appears to be the original facade visible, before it was covered with siding:

I am seeking historical photos from when the Frankford Hippodrome was active as a Nickelodeon. If I find anything, I’ll post here!
Anyone have any info about this silent era theater? There is almost no information anywhere about it, and while the building appears to still be standing, it’s homes now.
this has reopened as a music venue called “The Fallser Club.”
very cool to see a former palace like this get saved & reused!

I am worried that the theater is in danger of being demolished
Very sad to report that the Boro has indeed been demolished :(
This building has been historically preserved, and has been acquired by local Puerto Rican nonprofit APM, to be rehabbed and restored!!!
It is so sad that this was demolished.
Unbelievably beautiful theater! Had the absolute pleasure of performing here tonight. I hope it is preserved for decades to come

I used to frequent this theater as a child in the 90s. So sad to learn of its demise.
This looks to have sadly been demolished and turned into a high-rise apartment by about 2017.
