Well,its Jan 7 1982 and “REDS” has left its Christmas run at NATIONAL HILLS THEATRE. and is showing at the WEIS CINEMA CENTRE. “TIME BANDITS” a cute little GEORGE HARRISON production is playing there with 2 shows nightly. “REDS” shows at 8:00 pm only.
Robin, I forgot to ask everyone there what their favorite movie was tht played at NATIONAL HILLS. Ask them. Jan.7 1982 Chevy Chase is showing in"MODERN PROBLEMS" rated PG. {no passes}
Jan 7 1982,i have been gone for two years and movies are still playing at COLUMBIA 1 and 2 Theatres. Columbia 1 has the Jane Fonda movie “ROLLOVER” rated R Ms.Fonda only had a few movies to play there. second run on “COMING HOME” second run on “THE CHINA SYNDOME” and first run on “NINE TO FIVE”.For the record I was there for the first three. Story somewhere above on Dog in booth barking during “COMING HOME” Can’t make it up. Columbia 2 is playing a very good “ABSENCE OF MALICE”. i want to say this movie opened at NationalHills.

Micah, I have an old PLITT THEATRE office Memo with his name on it and how he was doing selling Reduced admission tickets,RATS as we called them in the business.
I don’t know,hopefully he was a real theatre dawg and is on CT smiling that someone found his name. Really,Robin gave me a stack of old PLITT memos and wow,all the theatres had the managers names on them. A few theatres aren’t on CT. like the Westgate in Spartanburg,S.C., SPRINGS THEATRE in Ocala, MALL theatres,Johnson City,TENN. Camelot Theatre in Myrtle Beach,and SUNILAND in N. Miami. Maybe they have new names,i don’t know and can’t know all about theatres.
I am looking at my marquee AGAIN. I got some to send pictures from All our theatres. Do you think Black and white would look okay,because it would be cheaper to copy. Like us dressing up playing the MARX BROTHERS on a double feature of the MARX Brothers.

For 99 cents you can see “RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK” rated PG.It had a successful run at WEIS CINEMAS.
